MRI Thanksgiving Challenge: BE More, DO Less Screens
The holiday season can be stressfulābut hereās the perfect present you can give yourself and those around you: being present, over presents.
And my gift to you? This mindful exerciseābecause being present is power.
Hereās what youāll need:
ā A piece of paper
ā A pen or pencil
ā An open mind
Your 3-Step Mindful Relationship with Information Exercise:
1ļøā£ Create an Affirmation
Start with I AM. Example: I AM protecting my emotions this Thanksgiving by being present.
2ļøā£ Set an Intention
Start with I WILL. Example: I WILL notice screens and choose presence over scrolling.
3ļøā£ Observe & Reflect
Be the I KNOW observer. Jot down what you noticeāyour feelings, your reactions, and what you might want to change.

A Personal Note:
When I started my own MRI practiceāand even with my clientsāwe sometimes lost the pen, the paper, or even the focus. But with purpose and intention, we always found our way back and finished the activity. Thatās the beauty of mindfulness: itās not about perfection, itās about presence.
